What analysis is required to be included on the application form?

Product analysis is not mandatory to participate in the Berlin GOOA Awards. However, producers may submit laboratory analysis if they wish.

If provided, the following analyses are required according to the category:

• Extra Virgin Olive Oil: Acidity (%), UV absorption (K232, K268 and ΔK), and Peroxide Value.

• Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil: The above analyses plus a pesticide residue report.

• High Polyphenols: Acidity (%), UV absorption (K232, K268 and ΔK), and Peroxide Value, together with the relevant polyphenol analysis.
